What an advocate does
She speaks for you, from outside
Your Partner Advocate networks on your behalf and guides you as an outside party rather than as a mother or a sister. That distance is deliberate. It is what lets her advocate freely, and it is what makes other people listen differently.
She makes sure you are presented in the best possible light, to the right people, at the right time. She presents you to shadchanim and other appropriate contacts, and she can also connect you with the kinds of practical support that are relevant to you.
And she is not doing it alone. She sits on a team of about ten advocates led by an experienced team leader, which means your name and your qualities travel a great deal further than one person’s contacts.

Before you open the form
- Her resume, and a photo of her. Both have to be attached before the form will send, and they come from the single herself.
- A written description of her, entered as text or uploaded as a file.
- Her date of birth, height, hair color, work or school, and what she is looking for.
- Her family details, including how many siblings she has and where she falls among them.
- Her shidduch contact person's name, relationship to her, phone number, and email.
- If you want to name a Partner Advocate you would prefer, the form asks for her full name, phone number, email and city, and why you think they would suit each other.
The form saves as you go, so you can stop and come back to it. It has to be the same browser on the same device.
When you finish, press Submit and wait for the form to confirm it was received before closing it.
