Getting hold of a shadchan is not always easy. Many shadchanim from
various neighborhoods have already agreed to take appointments
directly, and more are being added.
Before you begin
A few things to know.
This page is open to boys as well as girls, and anyone can ask for an appointment: the single, a parent, a grandparent, a brother or sister, an aunt or uncle, or a friend.
Booking an appointment does not guarantee a date or a suggestion. What it does is make a shadchan easier to reach, whether you are not sure who to approach or you have been finding it hard to get hold of somebody.
Appointments become available one week in advance.
Meetings are held on Google Meet, with video, unless your confirmation email says otherwise.
Nothing is paid on this website. Once the appointment is confirmed you will be emailed the Zelle details for the shadchan you booked. The fee goes to the shadchan in full; Nivneh takes nothing from it.
Cancellations and changes are made through the SimplyBook booking system, so there is no need to contact the shadchan. A cancellation has to be made at least 24 hours before the appointment for a refund.
The booking will not go through without the single’s resume and a photo, so have both on hand. It also asks their date of birth, height, what they are looking for, and anything they consider a must.
What is entered here is shared with Nivneh, the shadchan chosen, and SimplyBook, which runs the booking system. It does not go to any other shadchan or committee.
